Thames barrier

Today was the last leg of our Thames path walk. We went from London Bridge to the Thames flood barrier at Woolwich, which overall meant walking 12.5 miles. We had a lovely sunny day again but cold. We stopped at a pub called the Prospect of Whitby, London’s oldest riverside pub, and went from north to south of the river via the Greenwich tunnel, which I can’t remember going through before, but I may have done when much younger . We caught a train back to the station at London Bridge and after a final celebratory drink we headed home.
