Saturday: Tapestry Room

You will be pleased to see from this photo that we have now finished decorating our living room.  I think it’s come together very well.

It was a bright, but chilly, day. With our newly acquired National Trust membership we went to Osterley House for a walk in the gardens and through the house.  It was really enjoyable and we’re looking forward to exploring more NT venues.

A couple of pints in the pub with Rocknerd and LOH rounded off a very nice day.

On another note, we have recently purchased a juicer which comes with some fantastic instructions which are causing much hilarity.  We’re particularly taken with the properties of kiwi juice which ‘help melancholy people out of the emotional depression’ and celery juice which can ‘sooth the nerves swelling’.  The overall introduction to the juicer tells us that ‘juice is worthy of careful taste instead of tossing off’.  I’ll say……..

And just to clear up any misunderstanding, this is not actually our living room.  It’s the Tapestry Room in Osterley House.
