Feeling Great

Went for a ride this morning and the bike developed a slow leak about 32km from home. I had a tail wind so opted to try "pump and go for it". In hindsight I probably should have have tackled a proper repair but this was the first puncture on this bike since I bought it in 2016 and I wasn't confident that the tube I've been carrying around for 9 years hadn't perished. Made it home safely after (I think) 8 stops to top up the pressure. Nothing was going to get under my skin today with the arrival of grandson #2 last night, celebrated tonight with pizza with his dad and brother while he and his mum acquaint themselves in the hospital. Hopefully get to meet him tomorrow,before I fly to Queenstown for another few days of work (yes, I will be working, it's not all fun and games).
