Renovation

A gorgeous day brought ample opportunity to get in the van and start the projects we’ve been planning all winter.

Counter top is out, the new one isn’t installed yet so there’s space to run the Cat6 internet cables to the outside port(s), the tv and Mount was removed to make way for an iPad mount, the truma control was moved out of the cabinet to just above the master control panel for easier access, the old clunky draw bars for the bed were removed, the wallpaper on the back wall peeled off smooth ready for new paper and we removed the overhead “mood” lighting to be replaced with newer smaller lights.

Tomorrow, we hope to be able to tackle the “starlink” cabinet for the modem and power along with installing the usb outlet to power the iPad while on its mount. The piping and fittings for the kitchen sink should be here this week to reinstall the new countertop in the kitchen.

Lots to do, but we’re thrilled that we made the choice to bring it out of storage early to get a jump start on these projects. We certainly accomplished a lot in just one day!
