Silent Portobello

Blipped this poster for Buster Keaton’s 1926 silent film ‘The General’, which is being shown at the Wash House venue on Saturday 29th March. The film will be accompanied by live music. 

It’s all quite apt, as we are in Bo’ness (Falkirk district) next weekend attending the Hippodrome Silent Film Festival - it’s great to see silent films with live accompaniment are thriving again in these ‘Modern Times’ (1936 Charlie Chaplin film).

Anyway, we got our steps in, and I’ll do some gardening this afternoon, while Martin is at work.
