Faded Glory

At breakfast time I dropped a jar of marmalede on a glass tumbler which shattered into tiny wee pieces like a car windscreen. It went flippin' EVERYWHERE, and I do mean everywhere. It took ages to clean up. Then I dusted and rearranged a bookcase. (Extra pic)
After that I dug out Faded Glory, an American flag that once flew over a yacht club in Cape Cod, Mass. I was asked by dear Beverly to display it upside down in solidarity with the current US protest movement.  It’s a humungous thing made of linen with sewn on stars and seen here draped over my double bed.
