Pub supper

After a blustery day requiring several domestic chores it was an easy decision to have dinner at the local pub.  The Jingle Pot Pub, affectionately shortened to "The JP",  is on Jingle Pot Road, which was named by an infamous mayor, who we'll feature another day, for a tool used by our coal miners.  A "Jingle Pot" was a pail with a few stones in it, attached to a rope.  Miners would pull on the rope to make noise when they wanted to signal that it was time to start hoisting carts full of coal out of the mine.
I didn't notice until we arrived that the last reno. included new signage, more reminiscent of the wild west.
