Who needs books?

Apparently not Americans: the latest agencies on the chopping block for elimination include the Institute of Museum and Library Services, which funds libraries and museums across the country....

Also part of the "purge" is the US Agency for Global Media (which manages the Voice of America which broadcasts news to millions around the global but has been critical of Dear Leader) as well as the Minority Business Development Agency, the Community Development Financial Institutions Funds (promoting economic development for minority businesses), the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the US Interagency Council on Homelessness, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

Do I even need to point out the commonalities: these agencies either promote free speech and keep people informed (radio, books, scholarly debates) or promote minorities/disadvantaged communities to level the playing field with white (often less qualified) men. Can't bloody well have that, can we: a thinking public??!! disadvantage communities getting some sort of advantage??!! This is just going from bad to worse...
