Extraordinary Portraits

Elaine arrived mid morning, l finished chopping up all my salads for the week, we had a coffee then caught the airport bus from Otley that takes you on a very roundabout way to Bradford. Elaine loved the journey as she doesn’t know the area as well as l do.

We had a look at some of the new pedestrian areas in the town centre and made our way to the Loading Bay to see some of the famous portraits from Bill Bailey’s Extraordinary Portraits exhibition. Each portrait has a story that is so emotional, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Called in at the Tiffin Coffee house for an excellent flat white and shared a coconut slice and a ‘Yorkshire Rascal’.

Showed Elaine some other areas of the city centre that have had a face lift then caught the airport bus home. Airport was heaving as we made a stop there. Most people in shorts looking frozen in the bitterly cold wind .

Having some salads with some grilled halloumi , maybe a glass of red or rose.
