Fat b*stard

Did some more tidying and quite a bit of strimming at the allotment. The little birds are now ignoring the seed in the feeder but gorging on fat pellets. The wood pigeon was trudging around looking (in vain) for spilt seed, and eyeing up what's left of our brassicas. Even when I walked up quite close it just waddled away and tried to hide behind the daffodils. Eventually I got so close that it remembered it could fly and managed a lumbering take-off.
