It can’t be avoided. Got quite a lot done today including turning out our composting hot bin. All that “compostable” fake plastic made from potato starch? It doesn’t compost. It was a slimy horrible mess. We’ve got rid of it. Not putting any more in. 
Found some grape hyacinths lurking. I know they can become a nuisance but I do like them
