Earlier, I met Chris and we pootled about the northern edge of the Lammermuirs on our bikes, before grumbling about the price of a milky Flat White at the Humbie Hub. Then ‘home’ via Begbie and Bolton for me.

More humphing of logs ensued before heading home home and house cleaning occurred for the visit of my uncle tomorrow.

Right, enough. Himself will be having a conniption at the amount of toil taking place on his holy day.

BBC Countryfile is featuring Keilder Forest tonight, so I’m off to watch that.
