In an indication of the times we live in, the house on the left is owned by a couple who live in Chicago.  Meantime, Kathleen was invited for lunch today and CMC once  more jumped through a culinary hoop (as it moved).  The apogee was a utterly stunning gooseberry cake.  I recovered by going to saw some logs and do soil prep in the polycrub.  As a follow up I have to take my saw to Kathleen’s and saw up some stabs.  Weatherwise it promises to be a tip top week for ootside maintenance.  The Whisky Meeting has had to be shifted.  But don’t worry Iain@Creel call handlers are now available and waiting to talk you through it.

The paludification continues – but it’s as difficult as ever to measure on a daily basis.
