Spring pond deep and wide

Time for the vessel’s return

Slow the duckweed flows together

Willows draw them apart again

A  beautiful day and some work in the garden - a bit of mowing, a bit of bramble bashing and an admiration of the duckweed on the small pond, looking velvety and mysterious with some nice shadows and stippling. It rarely attracts any ducks though.
