'A Gull in its Element'

It is a Lesser black-backed gull, one of several kinds of gull in the pond this evening (well as coots, moorhen, ducks, geese and, of course, two swans!

I've always been a bit fascinated by gulls' heads, beaks (with the little reddish bits) and especially the eyes, and I like the patterns in the water here, too!
