Arriving

As you can imagine playing a jazz band gig doesn't just involve turning up and playing - it also involves a lot of setting up and clearing away which we all do ourselves.   Here we are arriving and setting out the chairs - Karen has us quite well trained!

Despite feeling very lightheaded this morning, I really enjoyed a our concert at Kedington Community Centre this afternoon, and here is a link to one of my favourite pieces to play. In this arrangement of the band, and angle of the video  - you can actually see me (though the trumpet and sax steal the show obvs.)

I'm going back to work tomorrow to get over my busy weekend!

PS. I believe that this concert raised £500+ for cancer research.
