Liverpool Riviera

We were up early this morning, and on the beach before 9am. I had checked the tides last night and it was a particularly high one at 12:30, hence the early start.
A lovely few hours of strolling & chatting as the tide came in and the wonderful sound of gently breaking waves accompanied us.
A flask of tea back in the car was most welcome after the slightly nippy wind.
An all round perfect day.
