River of Flowers

Sunday: Treborth Botanic Gardens

A fine dry morning, which was very frosty when I woke at 6:30am - MrD’s van was covered in frost but it soon thawed out as the sun rose and warmed the air :-)

We’d planned on a relaxing walk around the botanic gardens, the wind is chilly but much of the gardens are sheltered by the hill and the trees - it really was a very relaxing visit which we both benefited from.

Quick shop in Waitrose on the way home then lunch and a relatively relaxing afternoon. MrD had a chat with The Sailor about his business visit to Singapore, I’d spoken with him last night whilst MrD was watching the rugby …

I had a little potter in the garden and greenhouse, transplanted a few dozen seedlings of Pilosela aurantica “Fox and Cubs” - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilosella_aurantiaca

This evening’s film was “Wolfs” on Apple tv - https://youtu.be/wLJUPjiRbAM?si=X9qEifirOWttlKH-
