Mum-in-law in Largs and Bb’s 15-year Blip

Up and out of Dot’s in Edinburgh and drove across to Largs, arriving mid-morning. Beautiful weather - cold, but blue skies and sunny. We visited Bb’s mum in the morning in her care home, then had a wee break when she had her lunch and we had a Gregg’s sausage roll sitting on a bench in the sun, on the front. Then we spent the afternoon with her, including taking her out for a walk along the front and for an ice cream. She was keen on the idea of getting some fresh air and the ice cream was the cherry on her cake! The sun brought everyone out and a few hardy people were even swimming!

Back to Edinburgh and arrived in time for dinner with Dot at The Three Birds in Bruntsfield. The last time I was there, it was called Parrots. Must have been in the late 80s/early 90s!
