Fraser Avenue

There was no risk to my life when I took this image from the middle of Fraser Avenue this morning.  I waited until it was free of traffic.  I was walking up to the gym to do a workout and it was an absolutely glorious morning.  This is the main avenue leading into Kings Park from the city and is so incredibly well maintained.  We often comment on just how beautiful the lawns along the front and in fact the whole park are and how well maintained it is in general.  As I walked back from the gym there was a fellow on a huge ride on mower cutting the lawn under the trees.  It’s a huge job to keep the park in such spectacular condition.  
I should also mention, that each of these magnificent trees are a memorial to a fallen soldier and have a plaque at the base of the tree.  It is a bit like walking into a Cathedral.
