Another siesta musicale ...

We went to the Voix de la Mediterranée festival at Lodève again today. It's a lovely old town and it was hard to choose my blip photo - I'd taken some pictures of windows and courtyards, some of my favourite subjects - but this one won because of the colours and the light, which seems to shine from the parasol, and the amazing dreadlocks of the sound engineer who was setting up when we arrived.

It was another good event - the Moroccan poet Abderrahim Elkhassar reading his poems in musical Arabic (followed by a French translation) and Salvador Paterna playing flamenco guitar and oud - wonderful. The trees in the garden are mostly bay so the scent is lovely too.
