Change is the only constant....

Taking photographs over a period of time - and looking at other people's photographs of things you have recorded yourself - is a process that  both illuminates and emphasises change.

I happened to be sorting some old pictures on a hard disc this afternoon and found the middle one of this collage, which was taken ten years ago when work was being done round the house including putting down new gravel at the back.

The top picture is almost the same shot from the 1960s when Feorlean was still a working farm whilst the  bottom shot was taken this afternoon and shows the tidying up that took place  last year.   

Change is the only constant, I sometimes think !
