Garden Project

Time for new decking in the garden, this time using composite boards rather than the wooden variety that has been down for almost two decades. While some rotting has taken place the sub structure is in pretty good condition, though I will need to strengthen the rafters for the new decking so I’ll be doing that first.

It took about 5 hours to lift the boards, cut them up so they could be transported in the car. I also needed some proof of being a local resident when visiting the Walsall’s civic amenity site, probably because of the refuse workers strike in Birmingham.
