Bishop's Palace

Dunblane. Remnants of the original 12th Century building (give or take a few decades), now caged and cordoned. 
The building as constructed was much more opulent than the remnants would suggest. 
The good old days, when the elite lived to excess, and the poor working chap got by on bread, beer and circuses.
