Feathers
The second of the four hen pheasants that live in our garden (I blipped the first a week or so ago).
On one of our expeditions a naturalist gave a lecture about the unbelievable complexity of bird feathers. Almost every feather a bird has is different from every other feather, and is grown in precisely the right position to provide camouflage or attraction or ability to fly, etc. Next time you find a bird's feather look at it and marvel at a minor miracle.
