Minor Surgery

Cataract eye surgery is classed a minor op these days. That’s because it’s performed in a matter of hours, considered safe and recovery time is minimal.
There was a fair bit of waiting around beforehand of course but I went into theatre at 3pm and was shipped out the door fifteen minutes later!

My blip was taken as I was sitting waiting in the pre theatre area and before my handbag went into a locker.

It did make me smile though when I went through the door on the left of the blip. They check and double check all your details including of course ‘which eye’. That will be the one with the big black arrow above it then :-)

All quite straight forward, and I feel fine, however I think I’ll keep screen time to a minimum tonight, so catch up soon.
