Zigzag

A strenuous 10 miler in the Berwyn foothills not far from Oswestry, we strayed into Powys the land of mysteriously disappearing footpaths and marker signs. 4 different paths had disappeared to some extent or other calling for more hassle than necessary. One chap whose garden we appeared in looked surprised to see us. The first people for 10 years he said, "most people go up there through the fields" was his next line. If we knew that we would have done that but signs are useful. Lovely satisfying day overall though.
