Rose (Day 3598)

Work for today was within walking distance, but not within walking and carrying all my gear distance. The plan was to remove existing wall covering (linoleum) from the 3 walls around a bath. The plywood that the lino was stuck to was to be removed too, then I was going to remove the bath and first fix pipework for a new shower. 
It took 3 hours get all the lino off, and another couple of hours to get all the old plywood off. Plans changed when the plywood came off. The bath seems to have been fitted before the bathroom was built and removing it was going to be a nightmare. There also wasn't enough room behind the wall to move the shower to the other end of the bath as the customer had wanted. All part of the joys of working in an old house.
Once I had got the lino and ply off, and first fixed the shower pipework I headed home and got stuff I though I needed tomorrow.
Back home to collect my beautiful wife so we could pick up the newly fixed truck.
