Organic Dinosaur

In terms of technology, this 20-year-old engine running on hydrocarbons is a dinosaur. It has lots of sensors and electronics, plus the wonderful dpf (diesel particulate filter) which stores the sooty particles in urban conditions then dumps it in motorway conditions. A masterpiece of deception by manufacturers to keep towns clean.

Some of today was spent replacing one of the less accessible sensors.
