A lovely surprise to see a sunset tonight as its been a grey afternoon.  Walked Tess at Glasson Moss this morning and had a surprise on returning to the car as when I opened the door an owl flew out from under the car!  Think it was a Barn Owl.  There's roadworks all over the place at the moment and to get out the village to go anywhere this week its around 5 or 6 miles diversion!
