I spent the morning catching with colleagues and my ticket queue. In the afternoon I had my first lecture. The technology worked out mostly as I had hoped. I probably failed at doing the hybrid thing, but then I wasn't pinged either. The material was all new to the students, so that's very good. I had too much stuff for today. I'll need to think if I can split the material over two sessions. I'll have to see if we can cover all the bits. The students are extremely good. They asked the right questions just before I got to the bit when I was going to tell them anyway. I did take a little longer than planned. Luckily we could overrun a little. The next sessions should be a little easier with respect to the amount of stuff I would like to cover.
