Kingfisher

A calm day of dotting about, half work half general 'stuff'.

While I was in Penicuik I decided to pop down to Valleyfield and see if I could see the Kingfisher. As you can see, I was successful :)

I spent a good hour watching it fish and flit about. Also had two lovely conversations with other locals who had come along to see it (one of whom gave me the location a family of otters was spotted not too far away, so that will have to be my next stakeout).

Totally made my day, what a treat.
