Success!

The Black Tulip Magnolia is in bloom! There's only one bloom, but considering that we've had the magnolia for 7 years and it has only bloomed once before, then it's a cause for celebration. I'm absolutely delighted :-) 
The extra is another magnolia we planted 2 years ago, it just loves to bloom and is covered in buds, it's called Genie and it is also beautiful. We have a third magnolia called Leonard Messel which is also covered in buds, they're not showing colour as yet but it will be white with smaller flowers
