First lambs

We normally have some lambs in January, but I didn’t see any this year, so it was nice to finally see some new lambs in a nearby field.
One of my old friends visited today. She had been in Sedbergh WI when I first moved here, another Londoner. She had moved closer to her family after her husband died. It was nice to see her.
