Looking south

Off to the north of the city today to hand in the church records for their annual inspection.

This was the view looking south with the classic Edinburgh skyline.

As the examination is usually concluded by lunchtime I decided to stay on the north side and went for a long walk round the Botanics. Despite being a cold day it was sheltered in the gardens and there were many splashes of colour and some other views of the city skyline ( see extra).

Needless to say many photos were taken and I’ll add them later to instagram.

All passed and the evening was spent catching up with friends over dinner in a French restaurant ( which was very busy for a Monday).
