Alcester in Bloom

I noticed just how beautiful the flowers are in Alcester this year. It seems that the town council are really making an effort with amazing hanging baskets on every lamp post and all the shops are very colourful.

Alcester has won the regional Britain in Bloom competition several times and there is a bit of competition for the title with nearby Henley in Arden. I can't recall it looking as spectacular as this year
