The Devil with Water Color

Started the day with coffee with the Crazy Ladies. Today we were honoring Denis whose 87th birthday was Friday. He is one of the honorary Crazy Ladies who happen to be men. There were eight of us and we had fun talking and laughing together. I spent much of the rest of the day doing art. I love zeroing in on a page and carefully painting it. By nature I am not detail oriented, but I have to be when I’m painting a journal page or a tarot card. That kind of focus takes me into a peaceful spot. All that matters is that the color goes where I want it to. Or if it doesn’t, I can find a new direction that works with whatever I just did. Mistakes have to become new approaches. That’s part of the fun.
