Waterfall from Alp Grüm

Lenz said yesterday that my Blip looked like a bit of Schottland. The weather was obviously listening as it has poured with rain since... :-)

We thought about hanging around the Hotel but there was a helicopter making constant trips from the valley up to where they are constantly reinforcing avalanche protection. And so we thought about heading up to the glacier. However, the rain kiboshed that idea too.

We had postcards so we took a little rail trip to Alp Grüm, where there is a nice little restaurant and we could write a few postcards. While there we helped a Japanese couple negotiate the menu (into English) and then helped them order. Fun really.

There is a street market here tonight. I can't see it being fun in this amount of rain.
