How many make a host?

Taken on the way to football. A hard-fought game which we lost in the end. Might have been different if one of our key players hadn't picked up a knock and had to play the rest of the game hobbling in goal. Didn't score this week but involved in the move for our opening goal. The other team then took the lead, with a couple of goals from I, who more usually plays in defence. Rather like my last two goals last week he popped up unmarked at the back post twice in relatively quick succession. We pressed for an equaliser but they broke away for a third and then when we did pull one back they went up the other end and restored their two goal advantage. We had a few chances - I laid off a few good passes in the box - but hit the bar a couple of times and their keeper was back on form again. Eventually we scored from a corner and then just before the end I played a perfect one-two with A on the edge of the box for him to score the equaliser. Sadly the other team went back up the other end to score and then, as we pressed for another leveller, they confirmed their win with the last kick of the game.
Still, a cracking game to play in.
Today was the twenty-ninth anniversary of L and I living together, marking the day when she moved into my flat on Forrest Road.
