Day 61. Paddy's 17th Birthday on St Patrick's Day

Day 61.

I've held off a bit recently as I realised that my next entry would be number 2000 and wanted to share something special.

Gratitude: grateful to Steph and Steve, total strangers, who, almost 17 years ago entrusted us with the care of Paddy, a shy wee puppy who became a much loved family member. It's his 17th birthday today. On St Patrick's Day, unsurprisingly. 
Not only has Paddy been a wonderful family dog, we met new friends via that "Lurcher Link" ad all those years ago. We've kept in touch with Steph and Steve over the years, even meeting for lunch in a little restaurant in Cantabria last year.

Walk: Just over a mile round Broughty Ferry at lunchtime in the biting wind.
