Another Languedoc year...

.....from Ali's sewing machine. I drew what I wanted on a scrap of paper. "Could you make me a seed organiser please?" "Why certainly - just give me a rough idea of the size and number of seed packets & I'll make it this afternoon" What a treasure she is. I now have it hanging in the workshop and ready to roll.

Of course, I should buy all my seed new each year, but I get overtaken with enthusiasm just after Christmas and I end up with more than I can sow. In the past it's all gone into a big tin and I've riffled endlessly through unsorted packets. I've thrown out lots for being past their sow-by date and now I have the perfect solution/collection. I don't think I'll need many seeds next year, but post-Christmas I can pick up anything that's missing.

The pouches may look oddly named to you, but they make sense to me. Some months have a lot going on and others practically nothing. August is too hot and January too cold, so they're missing completely.

Good eh?

PS I'm sorry about the lack of blips/comments recently. I left town for the UK at about the same time as my blip-mojo went on holiday.
