Redpoll

Earlier in the month, I took a lot of random bird pictures and my iPad identified one as a Redpoll.
It was a bad shot, with a branch obscuring the bird…I wasn’t convinced.

I went to the same spot today and with a bit of patience I got lucky. This wee fella was doing a good job not being noticed, by staying close to a group of goldfinches. 
It was very distant, this is a harsh crop, but I’m happy to see something a bit different.
