White Crocus

After several days on sorting out medical appointments and the baby shower I think I might just about have caught up.

Firstly, I had a whole day out last week with some Open University colleagues.

Then I helped with the food for the baby shower, attended the baby shower and after that going shopping for the final bits and pieces needed for baby’s arrival.

My husband was referred by Royal Papworth hospital, last May, to attend the pulmonary physiotherapy exercise class, twice a week for six weeks. He passed the walking test last week and yesterday was his first class; today he aches all over!!

Today he had a virtual appointment with Papworth to discuss the results of the tests which were carried out when he was admitted as a day case. The appointment was for 11am, but we were told to be available between 9am and 1pm. The appointment actually took place at 9.03am! A very productive forty-five minutes and hopefully some of the issues will now be addressed.

I have spent much time today sorting out the various emails, which have not been attended to as quickly as they should have been.

Today’s picture is of a single white crocus, which has appeared in a border where it has never been planted; squirrels have probably been moving things around!

Temperature today - eight degrees Celsius.
