Veg plus vegetarian

Coming back from my walk today I saw a lot of bees on the sallow by the Nuns' Stream.  It's the first time I've seen them in numbers this year, which was very cheering - so this becomes my entry for TinyTuesday, subject 'Vegetable', kindly hosted by Jensphotos - thank you, Jen.

And yes, as this completes the trio 'animal, vegetable, mineral' that are being used as three of this month's themes, I'm taking it the sallow being fed on must count as 'vegetable' being from the plant kingdom - although I see a lot of you have taken the theme more literally.
