Surely it can't last much longer!

This tiny Poinsettia was bought in our local Tesco Express for £2 ta the beginning of December and it has sat on the window ledge for just over three months.

During December it shared the shelf with various Christmas ornaments and then in January my potted up amaryllis shared the space but the amaryllis grew so tall that the flowers reached the top of the window and the plant had to be moved.

Why the little Poinsettia still has red leaves I have no idea. I give it a drink when I remember but it gets nothing to eat. The window ledge is bright but there is no direct sunlight.

It has been such a beautiful day that I should have blipped a garden flower but they will still be there next week and the wee Poinsettia might not!
