I hung around in Arusha for the start of the working week and had some very useful meetings with project collaborators who are based here despite the focus of our work being much further south. A testament to Arusha’s liveability factor, which I increasingly concur with.

Kate and her friends again welcomed me into their circle for a fun lunch at the art gallery-cum-cultural centre in the middle of Arusha. I then rushed to the airport to travel back to Dar es Salaam, arriving slap bang in the middle of rush hour. Which is never a good idea in Dar.
