Lord Herefords Knob
Another backblip, I forgot last Friday in my enthusiasm to recall Saturday's Principality Stadium visit.
Anyway Friday morning started with a full Welsh breakfast then a hike up on to Hay Bluff to blow the cobwebs away. A fine day but the wind was freezing on tops, the Brecon Beacons have large plateaus formed by the glacial actions in the ice ages very different shapes to the Lake District fells.
The blip is looking across from Hay Bluff to Lord Herefords Knob, a strange name but apparently Lord Hereford insisted upon it !
The hills were dotted with semi wild Welsh ponies, they were not very cooperative photographically but I got a couple in extras.
A good hike, 6miles and 1300ft of ascent.
