Trump Derangement Syndrome

Yes, your eyes haven’t deceived you: this is a real thing. Legislators (Republicans of course) in Minnesota are introducing a bill (labeled as above) to officially add that “syndrome” to the list of mental illnesses…. I kid you not and I am not making this up (see news link at the bottom).

It has little chance of passing but Muskrat does think it’s a grand idea (so who knows, he might buy it a spot within the legislation: after all, he already bought himself a country…)

People are laughing about it but think about what could happen if it were taken seriously: criticism of Dear Leader might just land you in a padded cell “for your own good” of course… Dystopian enough yet?

Update: by sundown yesterday apparently, the bill’s loudest cheerleader, Senator Justin Eichorn, was being marched into a Bloomington jail cell after allegedly soliciting a minor for prostitution. Gotta love it when karma works :)
