Prague 2

What a day! Blue skies, freezing cold but so beautiful.
Started out early with breakfast in the stunning Art Nouveau attached to the Municipal Hall. Gorgeous and the food was grand too.
Met up with our Guru Walk guide Kamil at the Powder Tower and had a fascinating three hour tour of central Prague. The reason it is so perfect and gilded is the Austrian rule of 300 years which although not wanted, created the picturesque streets. Modelled on Paris and certainly has a Parisian feel.
Lots of Kafka, the Jewish quarter old town and newer town plus back over the Charles Bridge to the Little Venice of Prague and down to the Lennon wall. So much to see.

Once the.tour was over we headed up to Prague Castle which apparently takes at least half a day so we opted just a fly by and then back down into town. Starting to flag we jumped on a tram and just let it take us wherever. Hopped off at the Foto booth for the obligatory snaps and Kafkas head moving statue.

To get some culture we chose to go to a concert at the Clementinum, a stunning church with members of the Royal Czech Orchestra playing an hour of classical favourites.
We jumped back on the team to Spot Sauna for two hours of relaxation looking out into the sparkling fairy lit river.
Magical
