Interesting!

I suddenly realised while waiting for Jos to arrive that my two repurposed bread bag chicken, one a present from Jos, the other from Bavers, both many years in my possession, (they know me so well), were checking out the empty egg carton on the table in the hallway.
Yesterday was a tough day. Today's another day. A chilly wind accompanied Indie & I, out of the wind with the sun shining, gloves off, jacket open. No rain, so many of the tadpole puddles have dried up. :-(.
Jos rang to ask if I fancied a lift up to the hospital, as she needed to shop at IKEA. I gave Mum lunch, headed back to Chudleigh, picked a few bits for J. Jos arrived at 1.45pm, dropped me off. I grabbed a coffee then up to the ward. I'd made a ham croissant for J, plus took some beef Oxo cubes, in case he fancied a change from the coffee which he tells me he's not a fan of. He's in a happier place today. Pneumonia was his diagnosis, antibiotics administered, xray confirmed well on the road to recovery. Quite positive, then a doctor turned up to discuss his back pain/mobility. An examination & discussion while I was there perfect timing as I was hoping to get some answers today. Doctor going to discuss case with a colleague but suggests that exercise, pain management, & alternative walking support (zimmerframe/walker) is the solution. An operation is out of the question. I'm so pleased I was there when the doctor chatted with J.
Jos came back for coffee & a catch up. Between us we put the world to rights. Only took us 2 hours.
